Automated Force of Insertion Tester

Initial renderings of an automated testing apparatus.

The illustrated apparatus was used to quantified the force required for proper assembly of a clinical diagnostic disposable. 

Operation:

Automatic force measurements were taken during the insertion of a plastic cap into a 20ml test tube.

My data analysis algorythm was applied to force measurements, calculating the force required to fully bottom out the plastic cap.
